Folding this down to a 12" compact stroller was very important to us since we take a lot of road trips. The other strollers I researched folded down to 24". This is a huge difference and makes for a lot more room in the back of our SUV for suitcases and other baby gear.although some might find it a bit heavy to get in and out of the car,If i buy a troller I don't mind sacrificing the weight for the quality.
Cons:
- Depending on the terrain and how loaded up the stroller is, the stroller can be difficult to turn, especially with one hand. This is because the stroller is really long and the wheels are really small.For instance, when strolling down a sidewalk that might be a bit uneven with raised sidewalk pieces, it's difficult to get leverage on the stroller to angle it up and over a small ridge. Strollers with larger wheels don't have nearly as much difficulty.
- The older child does not have much/any room when the front seat is reclined. When the infant seat is in place, the older child doesn't have much room
- No cup holder! And apparently it is hard to find one that works with this stroller
- The basket is very small, and if a child is in the back it is fairly inaccessible. And don't think of hanging a shopping bag or diaper bag from the handle, because the kid in back will certainly get bonked!
